There is a sweet little farm, Mother Nature's Farm in Gilbert that runs a pumpkin patch during October. My parents, sisters, our respective significant others, and Zander trekked out to pick out pumpkins. Unfortunately, Mother Nature's memo on fall weather had not quite reached AZ, and it was well over 100 degrees that day!! There was a small playground, and Zander scampered through the tunnels and made a few friends.
Meghan, Ron, Angie & Zander were much braver in the heat; they went on the hay ride while the rest of us sought refuge from the heat and bees in the limited shade that was available.
Note how red Zander's face is! Poor little man. He still had a lot of fun!

Halloween 2008
Here are some photos of my nieces in their Halloween Best!! Elizabeth was a princess bride, Riley was a princess peacock, and Sammy was in her Star Trek Onesie. Beam me up!!

Later in the evening I attended a party hosted by my friend Daniel Dodd (aka Bindi the jungle girl). There were quite a few good costumes, including a hillbilly couple, a missionary, and a Wheaties Box.

My friend Jim came as a Luchador, which was by far the best costume of the evening.

My boyfriend Matt & I took the most cost effective way to Halloween, utilizing items we already owned, and went as a Priest and a Catholic school girl.

Halloween Mojo Style!!

My friend's band, the Mojo Farmers, played at Hollywood Alley last night. They unveiled a new song, Day by Day, written and performed by my friend Jim King. Unfortunately, I couldn't get my camera into movie mode (still working on reading the instruction manual), so I don't have a video, but it was an awesome song. Hopefully I will be able to steal a portion of the clip from Becky's video camera.

The bar is an awesome dive bar half in Mesa, half in Tempe. There is actually a line down the bar that shows the city division. Bar hopping and band watching in Arizona is much nicer now that it is smoke free indoors!!

Happy Halloween!!
